types a different language

Someone in the office played a trick on me. When I open Word, the margin is
from right to left and typing numbers produces unusual characters.

I checked Region in Control Panel and Languages. They are set on English.
I checked the language bar and it is set on English.

I tried MS Works word processor and it works correctly.
What could they have changed???????

Hi Matt,

If you go to Start>All Programs>MS Office>MS Office Tools>MS Office
Language Settings: Do you see the default language is still set as
English?
