typewriter sounds

Call me old fashion, but does anyone have any ideas on how i can get a
typewriter sound when i type in word?

downloaded the sounds addin but there is no "key press" item to assign a
typewriter sound. eventhen, Don't know where i would obtain a typewriter
sound as well....

But i need a sound when i press keys when typing my book. I hate when i
don't press the laptop keyboard keys hard enough sometimes. But having a
sound other than cushioned keys being pressed, would help.......

I haven't tried this, but there is an option "Provide feedback with sound" on
the General tab on the tools menu. Might be worth a try.

yeh, i tried that too. I think that it is linked to the sounds download for
office because word makes a lot of noise for everything, scrolling,
saving,etcc...... but nothing for keys.... thanks...!

thanks mary.... unfortunately it was not compatiable with win xp. but it
gave me a clue of how to search for something like it.

and its perfect....! Funny, the somewhat annoying sound, really helps with
masking the cushioney sound of the laptop keys and also has a favorable
affect with typing... now i can focus on typing my "memoirs"....
