Every time I click somewhere in the text to make a correction, the whole text moves left, evetually disappearing into the left side of the screen and I must use the little arrowat the bottom right of she windnow to bring the text back where I can see it. It is real pain in the neck. How do I stop the text from sliding to the left every time I click somewher ion the text?

(Iam not a techy. This is probably a stupid question, but I'm willing to be called stupid in order to learn how to get it to stop.)

Hello Ken,

You'll never be called stupid in here!

Does this happen to just one document, or all documents? Including new
blank documents?

When you say "the whole text", do you mean all text in that document, all in
that paragraph, or all in that line moves left? Instantaneously or slowly?
If the latter, please disclose non-printing characters (type Command-8) and
let us know whether spaces are being inserted (they will show as little
dots).

Does your reference to the "little arrowat the bottom right of she windnow
to bring the text back where I can see it" indicate you don't have the whole
width of the page displayed to start with?

Please describe everything in as much detail as you can, as we don't have
the luxury of looking over your shoulder (wish we did! ;-)

Your answers to the above will help us to understand the problem before we
suggest an answer.

Cheers,
