typing arabic characters in the subject line of a new message

In outlook 2002(Office XP Arabic),

1. Some of the outlookbar items appears as ?????. How can
I eliminate this?

2. Why I cannot type Arabic in the Subject line of a new e-
mail message.

Kindly forward your valuable guidance to solve these
problems.
