Typing as Though Shift Key Stuck

I was working in Outlook, when suddenly everything I typed came up as though
the shift key were stuck. I check several times, and I can see that both
shift keys are just fine. It is not the "Stickey keys" function. And hitting
the shift key does not cause it to resolve. I have to reboot entirely to fix
the issue. This has since occured several times. Each time as I was typing an
email.

Any ideas on what this could be?

I have seen this issue (tho quite a while back). I used to have a Toshiba
Laptop that was very fussy about the Mouse that I used with it. I can't
remember which mouse worked, but it was the mouse that caused it.

Try a different mouse (Microsoft, etc.) and see if this doesn't clear it up.
