typing capital character in Word 2003 on beggining of the word

Hello,
recently our customer purchased 11 HP 7600 series desktops with Windows XP
SP2. We loaded MS Office 2003 Professional with SP2 and here is problem:

On each PC, when you try to begin work with capital letter using Shift+that
letter, it comes out like small letter. Example:

trying to type word car on beging of sentence using Shift+c becomes car
instead of Car. However, when I type Shift c and get c on the screen then
shift a I get, cAR menaing there is no problem using shift inside word but on
beggining(not meaning ms word).

Any idea how to fix this?
