typing certain words creates a "link"?

Does anyone recognize what's going on in this situation....

I'm using WinXP-pro PC, and was in Outlook entering an appointment. There's
the big notes place at the bottom for more details. In this, I entered some
text, and it then turned blue and created a hyperlink, here are some
examples of text that "cause" this...

If you click on the hyperlink, it then brings up a screen titled "locate
link in browser" and it shows the 'My Documents' folders...as if I need to
select a file so it can one-click auto-open it.

1) I wondered what this active text linking thing is called, and

2) is there a list of ALL other codes like this that cause other actions to
happen while typing text? If so, is there a place I could find the whole
universe or of these or explanation of instances where text does more than
just be text?

(I'm also posting this in Word, since the Outlook is using the Word editor,
and maybe that's what's controlling all this.)

Thanks,
George
