typing e-mail address in Word

Is there a way to prevent e-mail addresses from being underlined and blue in
color after typing the address? Thanks.

Yes. Tools - AutoCorrect Options - AutoFormat As You Type tab, remove the
check next to "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks".

Oh no...just tried and it is still doing the underline/blue type. I followed
your instruction. Any other suggestion?

I'll bet you made the change in autoformat rather than autoformat as you
type?
