Typing in email takes 15 seconds to show......

In OFFICE OUTLOOK 2003,while typing emails, it takes 15-20 seconds after
completing typing for my sentences to show up. This started happening about
five weeks ago and I cannot find the problem. ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Frustrated Steve.
