Typing in ON 07 Trial

I was running the B2TR of MS Office and ON 07 until it expired. I have now
installed the Trial version. Unfortunately, ON will not let me type. I am
running Win XP on a laptop. I do not have a pen to input things, so I need to
type in ON! How do I turn that back on? I could type in the B2TR just fine.

In case it matters, I have let ON verify or validate, sorry I can't remember
the correct word. It asked when I first opened the trial version, so I let it
do so then.

Try clicking Help | Activate Product. See if that helps.

Thanks for the help, but "Activate" was the word I couldn't remember when I
was saying "verify or validate". ON 07 asked to do it when I opened the
program for the first time, so I let it.

I am now able to type in ON 07, but I don't know what I changed. I closed ON
and didn't go back to it for the rest of the day. The next morning when I
opened it out of habit and tried to use it, I was able to. I wish I knew what
had changed so I could post it to help others with the same problem.
