Typing on Scanned Forms or Drawings

I've often wondered about this but have just now come on a need to do
it.

Is there anyway I can type information on a scanned form or drawing
using Office. I don't seem to be able to make Word do it.

Thank you.

You can workaround in Publisher. Insert the form on the background (Master
Page), use text boxes on the Publication page.

You can do about the same in Word. Help will help.

In addition to Mary's suggestion to use Publisher, you can also insert them
in PowerPoint or in any graphics program.

Or PAINT or Paint Shop Pro. My two favourite programmes.
