Typing text into the gantt bar

Can you type something other than what is preset in the
bar? I would like to type "ongoing" in some of my bars.
These are items that really have no end to them.
Is there any trick to fool the system?

Hi Nicole,
If you add one of the text fields (Text1 etc) to one of
the tables in the Gantt chart you can put in whatever
text you would like to display.
Then to show the text next to the bars:
Format --> Bar Styles
Click on the task name(Task) you would like to change.
Click on the Text tab at the bottom of the dialog box.
Pick where you would like the text to appear relative to
the bar (Left, right, top, bottom etc.)
From the field drop-down select the text field you
populated.
This will show that field for every bar with that style.

You can also show the text only for selected bars by
choosing Format --> bar and just making the change for
the single or selected bar, not all bars.
