I'm not sure if we're supposed to post DST questions here, but I'm starting
to pull my hair out.
First off, I can't run the exchange tool because it just plain stinks. The
second version of the tool is supposed to use fqdn, but it doesn't work. It
also doesn't like the DN that I provide even though it is copied straight out
of adsi edit.
Anyhoo... I'm trying to run tzmove.exe on users workstations. I get this
error during the install: "No profiles have been created. To create a new
profile, use the Mail icon in Control Panel". When I click on OK I get this
error message: "The server is not available. Contact your administrator if
this condition persists."
I get this when I log in as the domain administrator or if I'm in the user's
profile and I run tzmove.exe as a user with admin rights.
My users are running Outlook 2003 SP2 on Win XP Pro SP. They connect to an
Exchange 2003 SP2 cluster. All users on the network are regular users, they
do not have admin rights on their desktops.
I had planned to make tzmove.exe available to the users and giving them a
user called "installer" that has the rights to let them install the patch
themselves because I can't run the exchange tool.
Any ideas? I appreciate any help. Thanks!
Nick
