feature still works exactly the opposite of the way all apps that use the
system tray work. I've been using this feature of Ol2003 for over a year and
I still can't get used to it. I find that I *CLOSE* the entire Outlook
application all the time by mistake... when I really just want to dismiss it
and have it stay in the tray.
When I close Windows Messenger window it stays in the tray. When I close
Yahoo it stays in the tray. Why is Outlook DIFFERENT??? Why does it force me
to use the minimize button?
Hey if you're going to use the System Notification Area (the tray) as if you
were a "background application" (which Outlook does try to do) then use it
the way EVERY other application does. This is quite literally one of those
things that drives me mad.
