Hi All
I have a USB disk where I moved my outlook.pst file and
reconfigured my outlook so the personal folder defaults to the new
location. Everything works fine. I unplug the disk and connect it to a
different machine where again I have outlook is configured properly to
point to the pst file on this usb disk.
This is my problem. I do a send/receive on machine A. All new
messages come through fine. Then I unplug the disk and connect to
machine B and I do a send/receive and all new messages are downloaded
again.
I read on the net that UIDL information on downloaded messages are
kept in the pst file itslef. If that is the case, this does not make
sense. This is explainable only if the uidl information is kept in some
other location local to each machine.
Can someone tell me where exactly Outlook 2003 keeps the UIDL
information on downloaded messages?
