Ultimate Office Student Edition

I purchased Ultimate office for the second time after my computer crashed and I hadn't burned a copy of my original purchase. My computer crashed again and I had to reformat. However, I am unable to load my copy (2nd purchase), it autoplays, I can see the content of CD, but then it stops and says CD is not accessible. I am not computer savvy, could you point me in the right direction?

Create a new folder on your hard drive then copy the contents of the CD to it.

If that works, run the setup program from the HDD.

I have actually tried that and I get the same response. It stalls and states again that CD is not accessible. I have tried to mount it from CD burner software as well, it goes through the motion and again states not accessible. I have also tried Virtual CD, no luck. I am beginning to wonder if I burned copy correctly to an ISO file. Any futher hints??

It does this while copying from the CD to the HDD or after you've copied
and started to run the installer?

If the former, it sounds as though there might be a hardware problem with
the CD.

See if you can copy the CD to e.g. a thumb drive or external drive using a
different computer.

It does it while copying from the CD to the HDD. I will try your suggestion and let you know. Thank you.
