UML diagrams

Hello,

How do I create UML diagrams with the Visio 2000 I have. I tried
searching for it. The option it gives me is to follow the path
New>File>Software>UML Model Diagram. But I can't find any Software
option under New>File. Any other way to access it? Any help would be
very much appreaciated.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have Visio 2000 Standard (ie: Blue box)?

I think the UML stuff only came with Pro (green box)

When you talk of the Blue box, do you mean the Visio icon, which on my
desktop appears to be a blue colored box, with four green shapes in it.
Or is it something else that you are talking about?

You may like to try our SanDriLa Visio add-on. It does all the UML
diagram types up to UML 2.0 standard as well as SDL, MSC, TTCN and URN
diagrams.

Not quite sure what you mean but :
menu File -> New
SanDriLa should appear at the bottom of the list
SanDriLa adds its own menu, from this select 'Set Diagram Type'
