I've used Visio 2003 on various machines, and this problem surfaces on
some and not on others. Essentially, when I create some kind of
association (composition or aggregation, for instance), I am only able
to edit the multiplicity of one end. This makes creating 1-to-1
relationships impossible. Here is a screenshot of what the editing
screen for the association looks like:

It's supposed to show a grid with both ends where you can set the
properties of both ends (including the multiplicity). I can't find a
single screenshot of this anywhere only, only a thumbnail in Google's
image cache:
