uml use case

Newbie Question

How do I actually start a uml use case diagram. I don't have the option of
selecting On the File menu, point to New, point to Software, and then click
UML Model Diagram. I don't have software as a group under new.

Are you running Visio Professional? This functionality is not part of the
Visio Standard product.
