UML + Visio

Does anyone have any idea how can I extend the the functionality of the
UML for Visio addin ??

it's a sealed addin with a proprietary interface,

Does this mean that if I don't have the addin I cannot access the Notes
'popup' feature? or am I really confused.

thats how I took it also anywayzz it looks like there is a possibility
to extend the addin but not straight forward by the book but by digging in
shapesheet.....

If the information you require is within the shapesheets then you
could write your own addon to process it.
