un-delete records which have been deleted by accident

nik

I'm not sure if this is possible but, a friend of mine has
just deleted some records in his access database
application but can't undo the delete now as it says it
can't undo the changes.

Any suggestions as to how one might rescue the situation???

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Restore from backup to a different folder then copy & paste the
deleted records.

nik,

Delete works really, really well. MS put their best programmers on it!
You can rest assured your deletes will be swift, complete, and utterly
irreversable.

That's my (weakly) humorous way of saying that you have to be very
cautious with deletes in any database.

Your friend's only hope is to find a backup of the data, and hope the
records are there.

Sorry the news couldn't be better.
