Un-splitting a table

Word 2003, XP Pro...

I have a table that (accidentally) split part of itself onto the next page
of a document.

How do I UN-split it and re-join the two parts of the table?

UNDO (following the split) will not re-join the two parts of the table. All
it does is delete text that I typed before the table split occurred.

Somewhere in the Help files there are instructions for un-splitting, but I
can't find them....

(Assuming the table isn't more than a page long)

Select the whole table except for the last row, and the title; in
Format Paragraph, mark it Keep With Next and Don't Break Between
Lines.

The table is less than one page long.

What do you mean by "the title"? The first row?

Whenever I make a table, it has a title (either above or below), most
easily added by Insert Caption, and it has to be on the same page as
the table, so be sure it's included in the "Keep with Next."

("Don't Break" is actually "Keep Lines Together.")

Thanks. I didn't know about "captions"; the tables in question are created by
directory mail-merge, are untitled, contain a photo in the large right-hand
cell, and various GPS data, date, photo #, and description in the several
left-hand cells (all except the description are filled by the mail-merge).

I'll keep this email on file for future reference.
