un-subordinate consolidated project?

To my horror one of my co-workers rolled a number of projects under a
consolidated. Is there a way to un-subordinate them out from under the
consolidated project? I am considering Cut and Paste but am leery of that.

Also of interest: the subprojects are visible to me via from MS Project but
not from PWA views. I can see then when I go to Server Settings / Delete
Enterprise Objects but not in any of views.

Note: I am the darn Admin. I should see everything

When you say consolidated, do you mean master project (insert | project) or
do you mean he cut and pasted into a single project?
