I am experiencing an annoying pop up security alert that
appears whenever I am logging on to a https site. I didn't
have this problem till I attempted to creat a Yahoo mail
shortcut to my desktop. I was asked if I wanted to enable
my active desktop and I said yes. I changed my mind when I
saw what appeared on the desktop and disabled the active
desktop. Ever since then I get this secuity alert that
gives me warnings asking me if I wish to proceed. I never
had this before. I've gone into the security settings
via "tools-internet options" and then clicking on
the "security and advanced tabs" for corrections but I am
getting nowhere as this "alert" keeps appearing. I am
trying to get into my bank account online as well as pay
my credit cards wihout having to go through the alert.
I've been doing this for2 years without this alert. Can I
get rid of this? Also, can I get rid of this for just
certain sites? Thanks for the help.
