Unable to access inbox

Unable to access inbox and contacts in Microsoft Outlook. When tryign to open
it tells me it is unable to expand folder as fie (shows path) is in use and
unable to be accessed. It asks me to close this but I am unsure how to find
it. Tried to search the path but no file has come up. What do I do?

The path probably includes a hidden folder so that you either have to enable
to show hidden folders or type the folder path (excluding the file name) in
the Explorer Address Bar to open it.

Either way, you have something installed that is locking the pst-file.
Disable/uninstall that or boot your computer in Safe Mode and see if you can
open Outlook then. If you still cannot open it then, it usually points to a
hard disk corruption.

What version of Outlook are you using? Have you tried rebooting your
computer?
