unable to add events to my calendar.

I am suddenly unable to add events to my calendar. I was able to delete an
event, although it gave me a strange error message about "the item may not
have been deleted correctly." This is a new computer to which I just copied
my Outlook files. But I was able to update it previously. Help! (And Thanks

I had the same problem today and discovered that rebooting my PC resolved the
problem. It might also be worth running scanpst (or scanost if you're using
Exchange server) to make sure your outlook file isn't corrupted. Mine needed
repairing, which scanpst does for you. Search for scanpst in the Outlook help
and it will tell you where to find it and what to do.
