Unable to attach PDF from network share

Client: Vista Ult. Outlook 2007 SP2
Network share is on a W2K8 Stn box. All permissions have been checked and
satisfied, user has full permission on the share. Outside of Outlook the user
can read, create, edit and delete any pdf on the share. Connection to the
share is not an issue. We can copy any pdf from the share to the users
desktop without delay.

When the user attempts to attach any pdf's over 500kb to an email it will
time out.

If I convert the PDF to zip format they attach immediatly.

Please help - thank you.

Do you have any 3rd party software installed that integrates with Outlook?
(e.g. antivirus, indexing, acrobat pro/standard, .etc)
