I am usually sending a message where I want to keep a copy of my response
so
I am sending it to myself either as cc or bcc. Also keep in mind that I am
sending this email from my domain and copying myself at the same time.
This
function works fine when I use windows mail and is only a problem when
outlook 2007.
Ok, a few questions are raised:
First, what's wrong with your Sent Items folder? I mean, when you send a
message, your sent item should be kept (unless you turn it off by default)
there. I mean, if you want to keep a copy of the response, that seems more
logical than addressing yourself on the message.
Second, if you send to yourself, forget addressing anyone else on the
message, does it bounce?
Third, could you copy in the text of the failed delivery status notification
(xx'ing out any valid email addresses)?
Fourth, how are you putting in your address? Are you picking the name from
your contacts, or are you simply typing in the smtp address?
