Unable to change column widths in Project Server 2007

My user has created his own view separate from the Enterprise in order to
save some customizations that he wants. We are able to save his color
changes, height changes to the columns but, we are unable to save the width
changes to the columns. We are also unable hide/unhide columns and get it
saved. We think this worked in 2003. Any help is appreciated.

Project Server 2003 had a feature called Save Link. Unfortunately, with the
completely new architecture of Project Server 2007, the Save Link feature was
not carried over.

The only way to serve this user would be to create a new view for him (or
give him permission to create his own views - probably not a good idea).

When the user created his own custom View, did he also create a custom Table
as well? If not, he needs to do so. The Table is what displays the columns
in the View, and the Table is where he can set column widths. From your
description, it sounds like he used the Enterprise Entry table in his View.
The Enterprise Entry table is an enterprise entity and cannot be edited by
individual users. Let us know and we will try to help.
