Unable to change scaling

I am unable to change the scaling. I cand do a print preview. When I go to
the page setup the only thing I can change is the page orientation. When I
click on the margins or view tabs a box appears and states "the value must be
between 10 and 500". What value, where does it go? Why are the tabs
disabled? I appreciate any help.

Hello Mike,
I went to the FAQs before I posted my question. Nothing that is recommended
worked when I tried it. THe tabs are disabled for some reason and when I
click on them I get the box that says to enter a value between 10 and 500.
The document doesn't appear to be protected and I don't know what else to
try. The document is in Project 2003. Appreciate any other suggestions.

Hello Stella,

Pardon me for bumping in. What view in project are you attempting
to print. Is there anything in the "adjust to" settings box? Can
you enter 100 in the box?

I am in the Gantt Chart view and the "adjust to" option is grayed out. There
is nothing in the box. I did change the view several times but the only view
that allowed me to adjust the scale was "leveling Gantt". Is the adjust
scale option only available on certain views? I do not work in Project so I
am not familiar with it. Thank you for your help.

Hi Stella,

Just so we are talking about the same thing, you open the Gantt
chart view of a project file and click the Print Preview button.
When you click the Page Setup button from within Print Preview, on
the Page tab, there is nothing in the Adjust to: box, not even 100?
Can you enter a number?

All views should be able to be scaled in print preview -- certainly
the Gantt chart view can be scaled.

That's correct. I tried about eight different views and the only one that
allowed me to put a number in the box is the leveling Gantt view. All other
views showed the box grayed out and disabled. Any idea what may be causing
the problem?

Are you sure, Stella, that you have the latest printer driver and it's
properly set up?

Hi Stella,

No, sorry, no idea. If you'd care to, you can zip the project file
and email it to me. I'll poke around and see if I can see any
problems. My email is prjng AT maine.rr.com

Replace the AT with @ and remove spaces.
