unable to configure server

hi,
i just installed project 2002 server, but when i click on configure project
server on the start menu.
IE says page not found.
http://localhost/ProjectServer/admin/admin.asp

any help? thanks

Try using the <servername> instead of localhost like
http://<servername>/projectserver.

do i need to install SSL for this?

No, SSL is not required but you can use it if you want more security. I
wouldn't install SSL until you have figured out your current problem.

Are you trying http://servername/projectserver on the server machine where
you installed Project Server? What about http://localhost/projectserver on
the Project Server machine? If those don't work, then there is either a
problem with the Project Server installation or you have a non-standard IIS
installation.
