Unable to configure SQL database settings for Project Server2007

Hi,

we are trying to install Project Server 2007 beta2.
We are following the deployment guide for Office Project Server 2007.
We are blocked on the Welcome to SharePoint Products and Technologies page
when we want to specify the configuration database settings. We are unable
to connect to the SQL database server.

One of the reason might be that our port number for the SQL database server
is not the default port number (which I think is by default 1433).
Another reason might be that the wizard uses the named pipes protocol to
make the connection while we use only TCP/IP.

Can this be the reason why we can not connect to the database server? If yes
how can we modify the default port number used by the wizard?

Any other helpful tips are welcome.

OK. we found the reason.
We were using localadmin as user but he was not part of the domain.
