Unable to connect to database engine

After having no problems running Outlook since it was released, I now get an
error message when launching Outlook (with business contact manager) that
Business Contact Manager was unable to connect with the database engine. The
recommended repair in the Help menu is to verify the user group in the
control panel's computer management to make sure I am listed as a user for
the BCMUser group...I added myself and this did not solve the problem. (The
solution also stated to click on Verify in order to confirm that the user is
valid for WinXP but there is no Verify button or tab.)

Hi,
This error occurs when trying to access Business Contact Manager with a
non-admin user id. The solution is to logon to the machine as an
administrator and add your user id in the BCMUsers group.
While adding the user-id to the BCMUsers group, you should add your id as
domain\user-id. In the "Select Users, Computers or Groups" dialog window,
there is "Check Names" button which should be clicked to verify that the
user-id is correct.

Sincerely.
