Unable to connect to Hotmail via Outlook 2002 after password chang

I set up outlook to link with my hotmail account and everything worked fine.
I was promted after 72 days to change my password which I did. I can log on
to my account via the hotmail link on MSN. I can also connect via my MSN
messenger. However, I keep getting prompted for a password when I open
Outlook even though I changed it on the account set-up page in Outlook. I
even deleted the account and added a new account with the proper password -
but it appears that the hotmail server does not accept the pass word -
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp - it never says the
password is bad, i just keep getting prompted for it and it nevers connects.

Any ideas?
