Unable to copy Hebrew text into Word

I am taking an online course involving English and Hebrew discussions
in Blackboard. The professor is posting his comments using
Davka-writer for the Hebrew. If there is a Hebrew word in the text I
copy, it refuses to paste into a Word document about half the time.
Does it go onto the clipboard and then Word doesn't recognise it? Why
does it past some of the time? MS Office has a good Hebrew font and I
have no trouble writing Hebrew in Word. Davka's tech folks refused to
believe that any Davka-writer text could paste into Word and couldn't
help me. The same is true in Mellel, funnily.

Hi Cynthia,

Could you please send the hebrew characters that don't paste into Word most
frequently. I could successfully paste hebrew text from TextEdit to MacWord.

Are you experiencing difficulty pasting from other applications like
TextEdit or is this observed only in Davka-writer and Mellel? Please let us
know.
