Unable to create Portfolio analyzer view

Hi all

When i try to create a portfolio ananlyzer view from PWA with Admin rights i
get the follwing message

Unable to access the Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Analyzer OLAP cube.

Possible Cause : The cube has not yet been built, or it is currently being
generated, or you do not have permission to access the cube.

Database ' " Olap Cube Name " ' does not exist.

But i am able to create views in other options such as Project,Project
Center etc

can anyone please suggest me how to go about this

Hello Srujan,

The building of OLAP Cube can't begin until there are project plans in the
Project Server database.
1 - Admin / Manage Enterprise Features / Update resources tables and OLAP
cube
2 - Yes, I want to update resource availability information and build an
OLAP cube.
3 - Type the name of the server running Analysis Services
4 - Enter a name for your OLAP cuble
5 - Update only when specified
6 - Save Changes
7 - Update Now
