Unable to create reports

BT Concert

I have users with Access 2003 that are unable to open any
report object within an application. Nothing happens, not
even an error message. From that user(s) machine, I have
even tried creating a small DB with a basic table of a few
fields. When trying to create a new report, I get
thewizard box of report type and which table etc.. but
can not go any further than that; again not even an error
message.

I have other users with Access 2003 that do not have any
issues at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Access
2003 of the users having problems but this has not solved
the issue.

Any ideas????

I've seen this happen to me. What the culprit usually is
the missing references. You've not given or setup properly
a support file(s). I find the easiest solution is to copy
your front end MDB file to their machine and check the
references and you'll see what's missing.

I'm having the same problem. My users go through the
report wizard and upon clicking 'finish' at the end, get
an error message "The Wizard was Unable to Create your
Report". I too created a small mock database with one
table, 2 records and 3 fields to re-create and it doesn't
work for me either.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I have solved this issue. This was a problem with the
Users default printer. Even though each user had a
default printer that was working in other apps, I simply
just readded it and problem solved. Obviously, there
still is some type of network printer issue to have caused
this that I will not bother looking into.
