...unable to create the data access page...

Hello,
I created a form and am trying to save it as a Data Access Page, so that I
can have users fill in information. I get this notification; "unable to
create the data access page. File does not exist , or you do not have read
access to the file". Please help, and tell me how to avoid this or get around
to create the page for data entry.

The "you people" to whom you refer are volunteers. If you do not receive a
response it could be because nobody has a suggestion, but understand that
nobody is under any obligation to respond. A quick look at the messages and
responses should show you that most questions receive a reply, some in great
detail, so your throwing around allegations of indifference is completely
out of line. You may also note that some questions never receive a reply.
I have had that happen with my questions, in which case I may repost either
with more information or in another forum. Sometimes I do not receive a
reply after several attempts. That's how it goes sometimes in volunteer
newsgroups.

There is a data access page newsgroup that you can find through the
web-based newsreader from which you posted this question. I suggest you
repost there. However, if you do not receive a reply you would be well
advised not to attempt shaming people into responding. I monitored this
thread because I was curious to see what the answer would be, being
unfamiliar with the subject myself.

While awaiting a reply, try a Google groups search. "Data Access Page"
"file does not exist" may work as a search string. When reposting, mention
what you have done in an effort to solve the problem on your own.
