Unable to cut and paste or drag and drop.

I am using Office 2007 and somewhere a setting was changed, and all of a
sudden I am unable to cut and paste, or drag and drop. In my non-Office
applications, I am also getting clipboard-related errors, but it started in
Office. When I select text to cut and/or copy, and the select paste, the
text is not pasted - nothing happens. Can someone please tell me how to fix
this?

That's happened to me on a Vista machine with Office 2007. When I rebooted
the issue was resolved.
