Unable to delete project file

I've got an odd situation where someone added a project to our
ProjectServer 2003 server, and then turned around and deleted it. This
user continues to see the project file in the Open Project list;
however the file will not open. Interestingly, I (as the admin) cannot
see this project file when I try to open a project. Last data point is
that the project start date is showing as 6/4/79 now.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Steve,

Is the project still possibly in a "checked-out" state? You can tell by going to PWA>Admin>Manage Enterprise Features>Check in enterprise projects. Hope this helps.

That was it. Thanks!

One piece I had left out was that the person who created the projects
and then deleted was still seeing them as checked out. When I used the
admin feature to check them back in, she was able to go in and delete
them at that point.
