Unable to digitally sign form

Hey,

I have created a web enabled InfoPath 2007 form that uses digital
signatures. The form has been published. I can fill in and save the form but
when i click to digitally sign the form the pop up dialog box (MS digital
signature control) appears but there is no preview of the form, only a red X
is displayed under step 1... under 2 the select certificate option is
available but nothing happens when i click it and on 3 the Sign button is
greyed out.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this??

Any help or avenues for further investigation would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Tim,

Found your post on Egghead while looking for an answer to basically the same problem. I work for the Dept of the Army at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. I have not programmed in quite a few years but due to a lack of anyone else I have been cutting my teeth on Sharepoint as of late.

Anyways, I have the same issue as you on one client and another client I cannot even get the Digital Signature stuff to load. I don't believe I have any issues with the DSigRes.cab located in the wrong place on the server. And, on the PC that mimics your problem I can see the active-x components registered in the browsers managed add-ons. On the PC that doesn't load at all I have tried to install the DSigCtrl/Res myself but to no avail. They don't show in the registry or managed add-ons. When I load the form it just skips to the form but I cannot digitally sign it. The form works fine in InfoPath. We are running MOSS2007/SP1. Any breadcrumbs appreciated.
