Unable to display tasks in PWA

One of my users is having a problem display his tasks in PWA, actually
the probloem happens with all users who log on to his machine. The
problems occurs when he attempts to view his tasks, only any empty box
appears and then the browser redirects him to the home page. I have
seen previous discussions regarding this and some of the fixes that
were described involved MDAC versions (his is at least 2.8 service pack
2), removing installed external applications (Google/Yahoo toolbars,
etc.)

I have also done the following...
--Removed all cookies/temporary internet files, reset browser settings.
--Manually removed and unregistered all ocx/dll's pertaining to PWA.
--Reinstalled Windows XP SP2.
--Removed all BHO, IE Helper programs, and cleared directory
C:\windows\downloaded program files.
--Reinstalled PWA files manually.

I'm not sure what else to try. Please help.

It looks like we are making some progress with this error - search the
newsgroup for "marky mark" and open the thread entitled "Home page
redirection error"
