Unable to edit forms, Word 2007

N

Nick E

I have several forms that I created in Word 2003, none were password
protected. Now, I cannot edit the document or fields. The PROTECT DOCUMENT
button is set at UnRestricted Access, and the MACRO SECURITY is at its lowest
security level.

There is no UnRestricted Access option under the Developer Tab>Protect
Document facility.

However, start a new blank document, then go to the Insert tab of the ribbon
and then to the Text section of the Ribbon and activate the Object pulldown
and select the Text from file item and then navigate to and select the
document that contains the form that you want to modify.

That document will then be inserted into the new document without any
protection applied to it.
