Unable to edit original email when replying

This is the first time I've seen this problem and only on one machine.
Whenever we click to reply to any email, we cannot edit the original email
portion of the sender that we select to reply to. On many machines edit the
sender's portion of the email when replying is no problem, but this problem
on occurrs on this machine. Any help is appreciated.

So are we to guess WHICH version of Outlook are involved?
Are we to guess that EACH user is using the SAME version of Outlook?

If Outlook 2007 is involved, maybe you have a Rights Manager on your
corporate network. That means the sender can dictate how to control
their e-mails.

I'm using Office 2007, and I also cannot edit when replying or forwarding an
e-mail. It's not just the original e-mail I cannot edit, either. I also
lose all my formatting functions on my own reply I'm trying to write. Any
suggestions?
