unable to email directly from word document

I am unable to directly email a receipient from my 2007 word document but I
can attach it to my AOL email program. I have 2007 word and 2007 outlook. I
recently had to reinstall my 2007 word program and now my email is grayed out
,it previously worked. How do I correct this?
