unable to expand this folder

Hi to all,

i just bought a new pc and i in stall office 2003.
So, i just copy my .pst file from my previous computer to the new one.
I have no Exhange servers in both machines, only plain Outlook.

The problem is that now it lists the nornal "Personal folders" in the
"All mail folders" pane, but it also lists 2 other folders with my username
and when i tried to open, expand or close them,
Outlook is telling me that "unable to expand this folder. the set of
folders could not be opened".

Has anyone else (i am sure that he has...) encountered this ??

I tried the Inbox repair tool and it didn't find any errors.
I just want to delete these entries, is there a way to do so ??

Thanks a lot for any help,

Kikapu

Hi Vijay,

i was typing in such a hurry that i didn't post these (valuable) info...

So, Outlook version is 2003 in both computers running Windows XP with all
updates. Outlook has also Office Service Pack 2 + all updates.

The file is .pst

Thanks for the reply!

Hi,
Try Exporting the pst file in the old computer and see if you are able to
import it in the new computer. Also check if you are able to create new pst
file in new computer
