Unable to find Project

We've been using Project 2003 for about 5 months now. We have managed period
in our system so that the project managers can update the actual hours into
projects through the timesheet approval process. For some projects, our
project managers are recently getting an error message when trying to update
hours into projects by clicking Collaboration/Update project progress, then
hit Update after accepting all the hours. The message said " Project Server
was unable to find the specified project. Check the project name and
version. If the problem continues, contact your server administrator."
Please advise.

There are dozens of possibilities here and none of them are easy to
determine. Could be dsn corruption, corruption in the database. You might
consider reverting to a backup.
