David:

Has your system been patched or SP1 applied? If not, apply SP1 as issues the
AD connector wren resolved.

correct it?

Magic:

There are a number of causes for this problem. You have similar symptoms to
a post you saw, that no longer exists on the primary Microsoft boards where
it was originally posted. Good luck figuring it out.

One last try: Actually, my problem is in just starting the Connector
Service which is needed to sync up the Resource Pool with AD - it
non-stop fills the event viewer with the following messages. AD sync
just gives more errors - but I figure this may be the underlying cause
- Any ideas? :)

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSSOAP
Event Category: Generic

We get the exact same errors as well, the same three events in the event log,
but at present, no solution. I'm not sure exactly what caused this error. We
recently renewed our SSL cert, and i'm wondering if this happened around this
time. Any help would be appreciated.

I recieved the same error MSSOAP errors in my event log and it turned out
that the IE Enhanced Security Configuration was blocking the WSDL file from
accessing http://tempuri.org/wsdl/ and http://schemas.xmlsoap.org which are
sites that pdsbiz.wsdl and pds.wsdl reference.. These files are located in
systedrive\program files\microsoft office project server 2003\iis virtual
root\

You can remove the IE Enhanced security config from Add/Remove programs..

Hope this helps some..

I guess you figured it out, because you still haven't posted a description
of your problem.
