Unable to hide tasks from some user's timesheet

When some users are trying to hide tasks from their timesheet, they receive
the following message:

VBScript: Microsoft Office Project Web Access 2003
You cannot hide this task for one of the following reasons:
* It is a delegated task that you are a lead for
* It is a summary task with existing subtasks
* It is a nonproject time task defined by the server
administrator
* It is a task transferred from Outlook

I became manager of this assignment, using the Republish Assignments dialog
box, but that didn't resolve the user's issue. Has anyone seen this occur and
if so, is there a solution?
Thanks, NelsonG

So what is unique about this task? Is it a task in an Administrative
project, for example? Let us know.

Well, then they can't hide it. Team members are not allowd to hide
administrative tasks on their PWA timesheet. Sorry.

Can they be hidden or removed by the administrator, from Project Server or by
the manager of those plans?

No and no. The only way to remove an administrative task is to delete the
Administrative project from the Project Server database, which is something
I suspect you don't want to do. What is your purpose in using an
Administrative project exactly? Is there a possibility you could use a
regular project for the same purpose? Let us know.

These plans were created, a year ago, by another MS Project Sevrer
administrator. The good thing is that I created new regular projects, for
this new fiscal year, avoiding what we are seeing now. In a few weeks I'll
archive these administrative projects and then delete them from our
production datatbase.
Thanks again for your continued support.
