unable to import pst folder after SP2 installation

I cannot import the copy of my Outlook pst folder. The
error message I receive is that the folder I am trying to
import is not a personal folders file - I have copied the
file into the same folder as the new pst folder but no
luck..
Any ideas?

The file isnt marked as read only?
In OL tried File/Open etc?

which version do you use before?
And in which version do you want to import the pst?

Thanks for trying chaps but, no, the file is not marked
read only and it is the same version of Outlook (the same
Office disks installed)...the only difference is after
installation of MS XP SP2...

Tried repair tool, scanpst.exe?
You may have to run it several times.
